Small commercial operation online promotion

Until recently, online promotion as great as selling as great as selling were something a large firms did. Local commercial operation didn?t see a order for internet publicity, though a times have changed. But now, searches for internal businesses or Small firms have transposed a white as great as a yellow pages. Today, if your internal or internal association is not found upon page a single of a Local Search Engine (SERP), your internal house might not survive.

The role of this essay is to uncover a little of a options upon palm to tiny organisation as great as tiny firms for selling or campaigning online upon a internet. This square of essay will residence sections on; video infomercials, personal ad posting, environment up a Google Places account, producing a website as great as optimizing it for page a single outcome upon a SERP, as great as harnessing a energy of a Social Networks.

Paid Ad Postings

Free as great as paid personal ads posting can be really prolific if finished right or a sum rubbish of time as great as income if not executed in a selling accessible way. The dual many renouned giveaway personal ad sites have been Craig?s List as great as Backpage. Both of these sites will concede content as great as striking advertisements. Because a infancy of internal investiture or internal commercial operation owners do not have an bargain of a html denunciation mandatory to furnish visually delectable ads, a infancy of a advertisements have been really tedious content advertisements. The unhappy partial of this routine is which often, a difference in a ads have been really spider friendly, ensuing in a page a single SERP which should be great, comprehension since when non-stop by a trailblazer they have been presented with tedious text, as great as they rught divided leave a page. Instead of painstakingly celebration of a mass these content ads a presumably spending patron says to heck with it as great as goes to a subsequent SERP outcome but ever anticipating out what we were advertising; a tragedy! These ads intermittently have many if any selling as great as promotion beliefs included in a mailing inside of them such as clickable links to some-more information! This equates to which these ads have been not expected to modify in to sales. Those intensity prospects during once leave but even anticipating out what was there. If personal ads have been rightly placed, there is no doubt which they can as great as do furnish a poignant volume of traffic. It is critical to have your ad mount out by formulating great seeking striking ads with promotion beliefs embedded in to a ads, as great as a call to movement as great as a hyperlink to a owner?s site, or lead constraint or fist page.

Videos have been an additional Search Engine

Although YouTube is a largest as great as many well-liked video site, it is by distant not a usually video posting site, there have been scores of them; as great as video can be hosted upon your own lay or any alternative hosting site. Video posting sites have been influential, as we can have a video infomercial in mins as great as true divided have it promulgation your special summary 24/7. The successful video collection as great as posting options currently next to or surpass a energy of tall stroke radio advertisings. It is expected to emanate a clickable great seeking striking ad for Craig?s list or Backpage which move people off of those sites to a video using upon your own website, finish with all of a accessible promotion as great as selling beliefs in place! In this approach we have been upon a page which we control, there have been no YouTube competing videos, as great as we can have a lead constraint form as great as alternative promotion element upon which site. A standard Faux clickable ad (embedded formula is not authorised upon Craig?s list or Backpage advertisements) can be had for about 0 as great as it can be used over as great as over again. If we do not have a place to horde a webpage for a video, hosting can be found in a cost operation of per month.

Producing a Small Business Optimized Webpage

This routine involves a welfare as great as securing of a commercial URL or domain, building a page or mini site as great as optimizing it to be found for specific poke conditions upon a internet. Consultants can publicize scrupulously comparison tall volume rival keywords to land upon page a single of a SERP, which formula in mixed unchanging trade to your website. Please be reminded, which we can optimize your website for a couple of as a single keyword string. Some internal commercial operation as great as internal commercial operation proprietors select to begin with a couple of keywords phrases, as great as enlarge a series of keyword campaigns as their sales intensify.

Google Places is a New Small Business SEO

Google is pulling a Google Places selling to a border of pulling a little preceding page a single SEO keyword phrases to page dual in welfare to Google Places listings. Setting up your Google places comment is so critical which we suggest we to find competent guidance; it will outcome in monetary rewards to you. Google places is so absolute which it can as great as will pull SERP page a single formula over to SERP page dual results; a genocide trap. When your teardrop Google Places idol happens upon page a single of Google, only attend for a receptive to advice of a money register.

Getting into an Ivy League College; How tough is it?

This article has been viewed 15 times.

If your goal is admission to an Ivy League College, you?ve set the academic bar as high as possible. It?s tougher now to get into Harvard, Yale, etc. now than ever in their histories.

Only five percent of the students admitted to Harvard this year were not in the top 10% of their high school graduating classes. And, many came from very rigorous independent and public high schools?schools with standards well above average.

These students also scored highly on standardized tests, with the middle 50% earning SAT scores of 2080-2370 and/or ACT scores of 31-34. To earn a composite score of 31 on the ACT, by the way, you must answer about 90% of the questions correctly.

But, not only must a student hoping to be admitted to an Ivy compete against incredibly capable students, he/she must compete against lots of them. There were 22,754 applicants to Harvard?s most recent incoming class. Just 2,124 were admitted. You do the math.

Is Harvard tougher to get a ?yes? from than the other Ivy League schools? Perhaps, but not much. So, does anybody really have a decent chance to find himself or herself on an Ivy League campus? Sure, but their numbers are limited.

Start by knowing two realities. One is that are no guarantees you will be admitted no matter how high your grades and test scores are. Ivy League admissions officers will be the first to tell you the sheer number of good applicants force them to turn away thousands of students who would be successful on their campuses.

The second reality is that if you are anywhere near the statistical profile of a student with a chance of admission to an Ivy, you have no reason to feel sorry for yourself. You may not get into an Ivy, but you should have great college choices.

What can you do to improve your chances at the Ivies? You must demonstrate your interest in learning and your intellectual ability with not just good grades, but good grades in the most difficult courses available to you. If the possibilities at your high school are limited, consider enrolling in a few courses at a local college.

Take both the ACT and SAT early. Analyze the results and determine where you need to improve. Then, get to work. Do it in a test prep course, by yourself (with professionally prepared materials) or with a tutor?preferably one with test prep experience.

Make yourself what used to be called a ?well rounded? person; it?s good for you and good for your candidacy. Join clubs or organizations in which you have genuine interest. I repeat, genuine interest. Accept positions of leadership if they are available.

As difficult and stressful as essays may be, they give you a chance to be viewed as a whole person, not just another faceless high-achiever. You need to do your best thinking and best writing. And, ask at least two adults in whom you have great trust (perhaps a teacher or counselor among them) to review your final draft.

Consider early decision or a similar program if it is available to you. Such options can improve your chances, but they may not make sense for everyone.

You will be asked for two or three references. Choose them carefully?very carefully. A single luke warm or negative comment on a recommendation may be damaging.

Take advantage of the personal growth opportunities available to you. And, spend some ongoing time helping others. You?ll be a better person. And you might pick up some good kharma. You need every edge you can get, right?

Remember that the Ivies want academically motivated, capable, high potential students; students who will do well in college and beyond. They also seek diversity, and students who can and will contribute to the college community because of their leadership skills, special interests, and/or talents.

Tibet monk given 11 yrs in colleague's immolation (AP)

BEIJING ? A Chinese court sentenced a Tibetan Buddhist monk to 11 years in jail Monday after ruling he hid another monk who set himself on fire, thereby preventing him from receiving emergency treatment.

The official Xinhua News Agency said the court in Sichuan province's Aba prefecture imposed the sentence on Drongdru after a one-day trial.

It convicted Drongdru, a monk in the Kirti monastery, on charges of intentional homicide for hiding another monk, Rigzin Phuntsog, for 11 hours after he set himself on fire.

Xinhua said Phuntsog, 16, was a nephew and a disciple of Drongdru and that he died even though he eventually received treatment in a hospital.

The March 16 death of Phuntsog was seen as a protest against China's heavy-handed controls on Tibetan Buddhism and provoked a standoff between security forces and monks.

Aba prefecture has been the scene of numerous protests over the past several years against the Chinese government.

A second trial will be held Tuesday in which monks Tsering Tenzin and Tenchum will face charges of plotting, instigating, and assisting in the self-immolation, said a clerk with the Maerkang County People's Court in Aba who gave only his surname, Zhou.

Kirti monastery is under tight guard by security forces who have been accused by overseas pro-Tibetan groups of beating onlookers and detaining monks. The area is off-limits to foreign journalists.

The circumstances surrounding the monk's death remain murky. In June, China rejected pressure from a U.N. human rights panel to provide information about more than 300 monks from Kirti whose whereabouts it said are unknown since the monastery was raided in April.

The Foreign Ministry said only that monks were undergoing "legal education" ? a reference to compulsory political lectures on the basics of the Chinese Constitution, criminal law and regulations on religious affairs.

Tibetan monks tend to be fiercely loyal to Tibet's exiled Buddhist leader, the Dalai Lama, who is reviled by Beijing. As custodians of Tibet's Buddhist culture, they tend to be especially concerned about tight Chinese controls over monasteries that take time away from religious study and practice.

Doctors misuse scans in prostate cancer: study (Reuters) | News Bay

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) ? Too many men with low- or medium-risk prostate cancer get CTs and bone scans that aren?t recommended for them, suggests a new study.

The scans are intended to tell doctors if cancer has spread beyond the prostate in men with high-risk cancer.

Doing them in other cases is a concern because CTs expose patients to small amounts of radiation ? which itself is linked to future cancer risks ? and the scans cost the healthcare system extra money, but have little potential benefit.

The research also suggests that not enough men with high-risk cancer get the scans, which means some of them may get treatment for local (confined to the prostate) cancer that?s unlikely to help if the cancer has spread.

?In high-risk patients, those are the ones that have a high risk of positive lymph nodes or (cancer that has) spread to the bone,? said Dr. David Samadi, a prostate cancer surgeon at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York who was not involved in the new study.

?Otherwise for low-risk disease, the likelihood of finding a positive bone scan or CT scan is low,? he told Reuters Health.

Guidelines from the American Urological Association say that doctors should use other measures such as prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing to determine a man?s risk of advanced cancer and then only scan those with high-risk disease to determine the best treatment.

Researchers led by Dr. Jim Hu of Brigham and Women?s Hospital in Boston wanted to see how frequently those recommendations were being followed.

They consulted a database of U.S. men covered by Medicare who were diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2004 and 2005 ? a total of 30,000 cases.

Both bone scans and CTs were more common in men who were diagnosed with high-risk cancer.

Sixty percent of those men had one of the scans. Still, one-third of men with low-risk cancer and almost half of those with medium-risk cancer had a scan in between diagnosis and treatment.

Hu and colleagues calculated that the cost of unnecessary scans in men with low- and medium-risk cancer billed to Medicare during those two years was about $3.6 million for their study group. (The government-run insurance program paid an average of $226 for each bone scan and $407 for a CT).

Extra scanning not recommended by guidelines ?significantly increases Medicare expenditure without improving quality of care rendered for men with newly diagnosed prostate cancer,? the authors wrote in the journal Cancer.

And each extra CT scan exposes men to a small amount of radiation, while also providing an opportunity for doctors to catch something ?incidental? that may not pose a threat but still leads to more testing or procedures, Samadi said.

Another recent study found that coaching and feedback from peers about the proper use of the tests helped prostate surgeons reduce the number of unnecessary scans they ordered. Samadi thinks many doctors are just trying to be on the safe side by ordering more tests.

?A lot of it has to do with the fact that most urologists when they think of prostate cancer it?s almost like a knee-jerk reaction ? automatically they think bone scan and CT scan,? Samadi said.

The researchers noted that finding four in 10 men with high-risk cancer aren?t getting a scan is also ?worrisome.?

If doctors don?t recognize that cancer has spread in some of those men, they said, they won?t benefit from treatment directed just at the prostate.

Take for instance an advertising company that launches an advertising campaign on the internet. The website owners are motivated to be a part of the advertising campaign through commissions or incentives.

A solid marketing foundation is key to a solid business. Even the big boys like Pepsi and Coke realize this! If they get comfortable and let their marketing efforts relax, then sales will suffer, and they?ll have to work twice as hard to get back their share of the market. Sheriff's raid on Days Inn in Phoenix nets 1 identity theft arrest

by Carly M. Price - Aug. 24, 2011 12:05 PM
The Arizona Republic-12 News Breaking News Team

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office raided a Days Inn hotel in Phoenix, trying to arrest 10 employees on suspicion of identity theft and being in the country illegally.

Deputies arrested one woman at the hotel at Seventh Avenue and Camelback Road on Wednesday morning, but officials said the other nine had not shown up to work.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said his office had identified three out-of-state residents whose identities were used by the employees.

Arpaio said the general manager had recently switched the schedule "because of the economy," so the employees were expected to clock in at 10 a.m., two hours later than usual.

Arpaio credited an unnamed source for the "great record keeping" and a "well-documented" report that allowed the MCSO to complete the raid in two months. He said it normally takes six months to investigate such cases.

The next move for the Sheriff's Office is to seek out the remaining nine to serve warrants for their arrests in connection with identity theft and illegal immigration.

The sheriff said those arrested will likely face charges of identity theft before an investigation about their legal status. The raid is the 51st such operation this year.

Findings published in Nature could lead to drugs that thwart outbreaks

August 24, 2011 (Bronx, NY) Researchers at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University (http://www.einstein.yu.edu/home/default.asp) have helped identify a cellular protein that is critical for infection by the deadly Ebola virus. The findings, published in today's online edition of Nature, suggest a possible strategy for blocking infection due to Ebola virus, one of the world's most lethal viruses and a potential bioterrorism agent.

The study was a collaborative effort involving scientists from Einstein, the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, Harvard Medical School, and the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases.

Ebola virus is notorious for killing up to 90 percent of the people it infects. Ebola hemorrhagic fever the severe, usually fatal disease that Ebola virus causes in humans and in nonhuman primates first emerged in 1976 in villages along the Ebola River in the Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Africa. Since then, about two dozen outbreaks have occurred.

Though Ebola and Marburg hemorrhagic fevers are fortunately rare diseases, "even small outbreaks of Ebola or Marburg virus can cause fear and panic," said co-senior author (http://www.chandranlab.org/) Kartik Chandran, Ph.D., assistant professor of (http://www.einstein.yu.edu/microbio/home.aspx) microbiology & immunology at Einstein "And then there's the worry that these viruses could be used for bioterrorism."

Ebola virus's ability to enter cells is reminiscent of the Trojan Horse used by the ancient Greeks to defeat their archenemies. Ebola virus binds to the host cell's outer membrane, and a portion of host cell membrane then surrounds the virus and pinches off, creating an endosome a membrane-bound bubble inside the cell (see image). Endosomes carry their viral stowaways deep within the cell and eventually mature into lysosomes tiny enzyme-filled structures that digest and recycle cellular debris.

The viruses captive in the lysosome manage to escape destruction by exploiting components of the cell to gain entry to the cytoplasm, the substance between the cell membrane and the nucleus where the virus can replicate. But the identities of many of these components have remained unknown.

In seeking the answer, Einstein researchers and colleagues searched for proteins that Ebola virus might exploit to enter the cell's cytoplasm. One such cellular protein, known as Niemann-Pick C1 (NPC1), stood out.

"We found that if your cells don't make this protein, they cannot be infected by Ebola virus," said Dr. Chandran. "Obviously it's very early days, but we think our discovery has created a real therapeutic opportunity." At present, there are no drugs available to treat people who have been infected with Ebola virus or approved vaccines to prevent illness."

The NPC1 protein is embedded within cell membranes, where it helps transport cholesterol within the cell. However, the absence of NPC1 due to gene mutations causes a rare degenerative disorder called Niemann-Pick disease, in which cells become clogged up with cholesterol and eventually die.

To confirm their finding that NPC1 is crucial for Ebola virus infection, the researchers challenged mice carrying a mutation in NPC1 with Ebola virus. Remarkably, most of these mutant mice survived the challenge with this normally deadly virus. Similarly, fibroblast cells (found in connective tissue) from people with Niemann-Pick disease were resistant to Ebola virus infection, as were human cells from other organs that were manipulated to reduce the amount of NPC1 they contained.

The researchers also tested whether other major viruses need NPC1 to infect human cells. Only Ebola virus and its close relative, Marburg virus, were found to require the presence of NPC1 protein for infection. Like Ebola virus, Marburg virus also needs NPC1 to kill mice.

"Our work suggests that these viruses need NPC1, which is embedded in the lysosomal membrane, to escape from the lysosome into the cytoplasm," said Dr. Chandran. "We are now testing that hypothesis in the laboratory."

The discovery of NPC1's crucial role in Ebola infection raises the possibility that Ebola and Marburg virus outbreaks could be thwarted by a drug that blocks the action of NPC1. "Even though such a treatment would also block the cholesterol transport pathway, we think it would be tolerable," said Dr. Chandran. "Most outbreaks are short-lived, so treatment would be needed for only a short time." Einstein, in conjunction with the Whitehead Institute of Biomedical Research and Harvard Medical School, has filed a patent application related to this research that is available for licensing to partners interested in further developing and commercializing this technology.

Remarkably, an anti-Ebola virus inhibitor Dr. Chandran found as a postdoctoral fellow at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA turns out to be just such an NPC1 blocker, as described in a separate manuscript by Marceline Ct and co-workers to be published in the same issue of Nature.
