This year?s drought conditions have caused some issues with local supply chains in the United States, especially along the Mississippi River corridor where low river levels have created problems for cargo ships.
In a recent interview with A.M. Best Company?s Best Day, Linda Conrad, director of strategic business risk for Zurich Global Corporate, explained how both drought conditions and Hurricane Isaac have impacted supply chain and business continuity in the U.S.
